Kanimbla Woodworks is founded and operated by furniture maker Lucius Culliton.

His woodworking journey first began in his grandfather’s workshop, where as a child he would “help” his grandfather Tony in the making process. Today, those early memories live on in the same shed, now renovated into a fully equipped professional workshop where traces of those beginnings with Tony can still be found.

Lucius pursued his design and technical abilities through the ANU School of Art and honed his skills professionally in leading joineries over the last decade. He now works with reclaimed and salvaged timber, creating handcrafted furniture, cabinetry, and small homewares that highlight the natural character of the wood and give it a second life.

His design style is minimalist, sleek, and intentional, with each piece crafted for purpose and longevity. For Lucius, every creation is a meaningful object, designed to be appreciated and passed down through generations.
